DIY Facial Toner with Herbal Cider Vinegar

Posted by Ethan Boldt on

Want to make a facial toner that’s both refreshing and gentle enough to use every day, but without any harsh chemicals or fragrances? Fortunately, it's incredibly simple to make, with just four ingredients, and can help to support healthy skin.

A facial toner refers to a lotion or wash designed to cleanse the skin and shrink the appearance of pores. Facial toners, also called skin toners, are also used to remove lingering traces of dirt, oil and make-up.

Key Ingredients

Herbal Cider Vinegar: This first-of-its-kind formula combines apple cider vinegar with over 10 organic, regenerative superfood ingredients, most of which are grown on our own organic, regenerative farmland. It can help balance the skin's natural pH.

Raw honey: Unfiltered and unpasteurized, raw honey means no processing or heating to decrease its natural vitamin and mineral content.

Chamomile tea: Helps promote smooth, healthy skin and soothes the skin due to its inflammation- and bacteria-balancing nature.

How to Make a DIY Facial Toner

First, boil some water and brew one cup of chamomile tea for five minutes. Allow it to cool. Then simply combine all the ingredients — Herbal Cider Vinegar tincture, raw honey, brewed tea and water — into a small glass bottle. Shake well to blend all ingredients.

Apply to a clean face using a cotton ball or cotton round.

Store in the refrigerator and use daily or once every other day.
