Posted by API User on
Do you enjoy protein bars? They’re an easy way to ensure getting a protein fill, which is crucial for improving muscle mass and promoting health. Unfortunately, some of the bars you buy at the store are packed with icky fillers and strange ingredients. It’s enough to make you skip protein bars altogether.
These no-bake protein bars are here to save the day! That's right, you'll simply mix these seven incredible ingredients together and refrigerate … an hour later, you'll have delicious Blueberry Macadamia Nut No-Bake Protein Bars.
Why are they special? One, they're a perfectly balanced macronutrient bar, with 18 grams of carbs, 20 grams of fats and 7 grams of protein.
Two, they're loaded with performance fats, including coconut butter and macadamia nuts. Coconut butter comes from the coconut meat and is essentially the ground-up meat that gives it the butter-like consistency. Macadamias contain some important essential vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin A, iron, B vitamins, manganese and folate, as well as protein, healthy fats and antioxidants.
Three, they're powered by Bone Broth Protein Vanilla (or Pure), which add in skin, gut and joint support.
How to Make No-Bake Protein Bars
First, in a small saucepan on the stovetop, melt the coconut butter at low heat. Transfer to a large mixing bowl, along with honey, vanilla and sea salt. Whisk together.
Next, combine the protein powder into the mixture.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix, this time using a wooden spoon. Pour into a greased loaf or brownie pan, greased with coconut oil.
Refrigerate for 1–2 hours and cut into 12 bar shapes. Enjoy!
